Major last-minute development concerning Patrick Roy and the Ottawa Senators

As you may know, Patrick Roy would really like to get his chance in the National Hockey League again, and as we learned in the last few minutes, he is about to announce his departure from the Quebec Remparts.

Well, it might just materialize with... the Ottawa Senators?

According to the renowned Darren Dreger, from TSN, the group in the lead (the favorite group) to acquire the Sens would like Roy to become the head coach of the team. Wow.

This would be a group including businessman Michael Andlauer, who was part of the committee that interviewed Roy for the general manager position of the Montreal Canadiens in 2022.

As mentioned by the guys from DansLesCoulisses, Roy would be outright the favorite of the favorites (to buy the Sens):

There would therefore be serious chances of seeing him behind the Ottawa bench as early as next season, especially if Andlauer's group effectively buys the franchise. Do you believe it?
