Xhekaj, Beck, and Engstrom Earn Strong Praise After Being Cut From the Canadiens

A few days ago, we had the very last wave of cuts for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
Florian Xhekaj, Adam Engstrom, and Owen Beck were absolutely not disappointed to return to the Laval Rocket
Of course, they want to give everything to play with the Montreal Canadiens-that's their goal-but above all, they respect the process.. They respect their development plan, and they respect Kent Hughes' decision.
Having players show up in Laval feeling disappointed or "grumbling" is never ideal, but that's far from the case for Xhekaj, Beck, and Engstrom.
"Anyway, despite being cut, the three are not disappointed. Rocket head coach Pascal Vincent didn't feel any disappointment from them. That's what can be read in an article by François-David Rouleau." - DLC
Here's an excerpt from the TVA Sports article on the subject:
"They all had a good training camp.
But there's also management involved in every decision. I'm not surprised to have them back. I'm actually excited, because they really left their calling card on the Canadiens' desk," said the 54-year-old veteran coach, who didn't feel any disappointment from them.
We're really looking forward to seeing them develop in Laval this season, and who knows? We might see them back in Martin St-Louis' lineup sooner than expected.
