Two interesting situations took place against the Buffalo Sabres involving Montreal Canadiens forward Kirby Dach.

Let's start with the first one.
On a sequence against Buffalo, Kaiden Guhle absorbed a hit from Jason Zucker, a questionable hit that appeared to shake the Canadiens defenseman.
The referees did not raise their arm, and the moment left a strange taste among fans, because it took a very long time (too long?) before a Canadiens player went to pay Zucker a visit.
Let's just say that, on that play, it was obvious that the Sheriff, Arber Xhekaj, was in the stands.
In the end, however, a Montreal Canadiens player did go over to see Zucker, and it was a surprising one at that!
Respect to Dach for that. It's a big gesture, and one that was certainly noticed by his teammates.
Dach stood up.
According to what circulated on site, he went over to Zucker to send a message and defend his teammate.

Also, a strange sequence involving Kirby Dach in the second period: he was glued to the bench

Speaking of number 77, there was indeed another strange situation involving him, again against the Buffalo Sabres.
A few minutes later, Dach was glued to the bench for a large portion of the second period, and no one really knew why.
Dach hasn't been on the ice since the midway point of the period.

Bolduc is now with Suzuki and Caufield.

No injury announced, no clear explanation, just silence that fuels the questions.
The contrast is striking: you see a player protect a teammate, then you see him practically disappear from the ice for a long stretch.
We'll eventually get answers about what happened in the second period, I imagine.
