The Montreal Canadiens organization has just announced two signings

Two more players have just signed new contracts within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

First, the Trois-Rivières Lions announced the signing of defenseman Brycen Martin, who was a third-round draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres.

"Brycen Martin will be back with the Lions for a second season!

He will certainly help the team with his great leadership and excellent skating!

Welcome back to the team, Marty!" - Trois-Rivières Lions

Martin, 28, is a 6-foot-2, 195-pound defenseman who was selected 74th overall in the 2014 NHL Draft.

Last season in Trois-Rivières, he recorded 18 points in 69 games and also played 21 games in the American Hockey League (AHL) after a long career in the WHL (24 points in 25 games with the Saskatoon Blades).

Quebecer Charles-Antoine Paiement is also back with the Montreal Canadiens organization

"Charles-Antoine Paiement will be back with the Lions for a second season!

He will greatly strengthen Ron Choules' offense with his natural offensive talent!

Welcome back to the team, Charles-Antoine!" - Trois-Rivières Lions

Paiement, 25, is a 5-foot-8, 161-pound forward who recorded 8 points with the Lions last season.

He added 18 points in 17 games at Concordia University.
