More and more, rumors are circulating that the Canadiens might be tempted to find an internal solution for the much-discussed second-line center position.
It looks like the Canadiens are considering moving Bolduc back to center.
That said, if things don't work out with Bolduc, if the trade market doesn't pan out, and if Kirby Dach isn't a fit, all signs point to a new, unexpected option emerging.
There is a rumor going around that the Montreal Canadiens could make a change involving Ivan Demidov and try him at center
It could definitely be an interesting experiment!

I don't hate the idea-and journalist Eric Engels really liked it too.
"When I watch Ivan Demidov play, I see a center!" It's also an option that was outright mentioned by none other than Kent Hughes himself.

For Kent Hughes to talk about it publicly, it clearly means it's a real possibility, so don't be surprised if we see it in the fall.
