The young Montreal Canadiens forward Ivan Demidov is truly a special player, and he's also a truly special young man.
After his beautiful game-tying goal, Demidov once again surprised everyone following last night's game against the Seattle Kraken at the Bell Centre with an incredible gesture.
He surprised reporters by doing the following... A message in French for Montreal Canadiens fans!

It may seem trivial, but for a young player who still struggles to express himself even in English, to make a "fairly long" improvised statement in French like that, without any preparation, is pretty incredible.

Hats off to young Demidov for this beautiful gesture, which in my opinion says so much about his love for Montreal Canadiens fans.
Let's not forget, this is a young man who chose to spend his entire summer here in Montreal.
Ivan Demidov, just 19 years old, has three points in four games this season (a 62-point pace), with a plus-minus of 0 and two shots on goal, averaging 13 minutes and 38 seconds of ice time per game so far.
