Patrik Laine Sends Clear Message to His Doubters: 'Whoever Bets Against Me Is Going to Lose All Their Money'

The Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine has been rising greatly in my esteem over the past few weeks.
Notably because of his hard work in Brossard this summer..
But also because of his character.
For weeks now, Laine has consistently been the first to jump on the ice in Brossard, and he's consistently the last to leave (along with Ivan Demidov).
This is unprecedented for Laine and extremely promising for what's ahead.

To add a little more to the story, a very interesting clip involving Laine has just surfaced.
While some have criticized him for his "nonchalance" at times, in the unveiling of the trailer for season 2 of the documentary about the behind-the-scenes of the Montreal Canadiens' rebuild, you can clearly hear Laine say the following..
"Anyone who bets against me is going to lose all their money!"

One thing's for sure, you definitely can't accuse Patrik Laine right now of not doing everything he can to have a solid 2025-26 season. He's working hard!
It's actually his first summer, in a very long time, where he's in perfect health.
