As highlighted by the Canadiens organization during the game:
Last night was referee Eric Furlatt's 1,500th NHL regular-season game, and after the match, Nick Suzuki made sure to acknowledge it.
The Montreal Canadiens' captain makes a classy gesture for Eric Furlatt
Check out the great images:
"A classy act by Habs captain Nick Suzuki (unsurprising) as he hands the puck to referee Eric Furlatt, who officiated his 1,500th career game tonight. Fantastic!"
Stu Cowan
Let's not forget that Martin St. Louis's squad secured a 5-4 win last night at the Bell Centre against
Quinn Hughes and the Vancouver Canucks.
A big 2 points in the bank, which currently allows the Habs to hold a playoff spot in the NHL standings.
In the victory, Suzuki collected 3 points (a big goal and two assists), while finishing the game with four shots on net.
He logged just over 23 minutes of ice time.
Also worth mentioning is the brilliance of young
Lane Hutson:
"Lane Hutson became the 3rd rookie defenseman in Habs history with at least 8 multi-point games in a single season. The others: Chris Chelios (17 in 1984-85) and Guy Lapointe (10 in 1970-71)."
