We were treated to a beautiful moment on Thursday night in the Montreal Canadiens' locker room, after Jacob Fowler's first game in the NHL.
Of course, we should remember that young Fowler earned his very first career victory in the National Hockey League on Thursday night, against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He stopped 94.7% of the shots directed at him, which is obviously extremely solid, and he had to come up big on several occasions.
He was truly impressive.

After the game, we were treated to a touching moment between the team's head coach and the young goaltender.
A few minutes after the end of the game, the Canadiens posted their traditional "victory video," and in the footage, we see Fowler returning to the locker room - but that's not all.
We also see head coach Martin St-Louis hand a game puck to Alexandre Texier for scoring his first goal in a Montreal Canadiens uniform:
"First NHL game. First win [for Jacob Fowler]."

It's really beautiful to see. St-Louis then follows with a heartfelt handshake for his young goaltender.
Finally, Alexandre Texier awards the famous wolf head of the game to Jacob Fowler for his brilliant performance against the Penguins and for his first NHL victory.
Fowler made 36 saves and became the youngest Canadiens goaltender to win their debut game since Carey Price!
More details to come.
