TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie has just reported some important news ahead of tonight's game between the Canadiens and Penguins.
Let's just say it's extremely rare to see something like this.
Due to a major accident that just occurred on a highway in Pittsburgh, several players still haven't arrived at the arena (as of 5:45 p.m.).
As a result, the NHL has announced that the game is postponed to a little later.
The game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Pittsburgh Penguins is postponed to 7:30 p.m. tonight
Let's just say that, for a first career start in the National Hockey League, young Jacob Fowler is set to experience quite a unique evening.
"Big car accident on a highway in Pittsburgh. Some players are still stuck in traffic. Game will now start at 7:30."

Montreal Canadiens fans will therefore have to wait a little longer before seeing young Fowler in action.
The Pittsburgh Penguins organization also released a statement:

Fans who typically travel on I-279 to the arena are encouraged to use an alternate route.
