The General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes, has recently commented on the eventual arrival of the young Lane Hutson, and well, there's new development.

As we reported yesterday, to put a huge exclamation point on his historic college career, the young Hutson has been nominated as a finalist for the prestigious Hobey Baker Award. (the ultimate individual honor in NCAA, the Heisman Trophy of hockey)
«The Canadiens' prospect (Lane Hutson) is among the ten finalists for the Hobey-Baker Trophy, awarded to the top player in American college ranks. Macklin Celebrini and Cutter Gauthier are also nominated, among others.» - Via BPM Sports

The three finalists will be named on April 4, and the winner will be announced during the Frozen Four on April 12. Hutson has a real chance of winning the title.
This is the kind of defenseman who will eventually join the Montreal Canadiens lineup, at the end of the season.
We're talking about an extremely dynamic and talented player, who has amassed 92 points in 72 games at the NCAA, at Boston University, over the last two seasons.
Yes, we can talk about a steal with the 62nd overall pick in 2022, and yes, we can say that it's very high-quality reinforcement that the Habs will have in its lineup very soon.
He boasts stats worthy of Cale Makar, Adam Fox, and Quinn Hughes, at the same age.
