We experienced an interesting moment live from Winnipeg during an interview with Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine, involving Nikolaj Ehlers. We know that Laine and Ehlers are very good friends in real life.

You can imagine, it's a bit of a dream.
Indeed, Nikolaj Ehlers will be an unrestricted free agent (UFA), and will be able to sign anywhere he wants.
He has often mentioned how great Montreal is as a hockey city, and how much he appreciates Patrik Laine.
He is a name to watch, as Kent Hughes will certainly try to sign a big name on July 1st.
Could Ehlers sign in Montreal next summer?
Ehlers, 28 years old, has 25 points in 24 games this season, and he is a superb forward. He is truly excellent.
