'It's Sure to Happen': Insider Reveals Who Might Hold the Key to Bringing Crosby to the Canadiens

If we're to believe Renaud Lavoie's recent comments, it seems almost inevitable that we'll one day see Sidney Crosby wearing a Canadiens jersey.
That's what he said on TVA Sports during his segment on the show JiC, adding that a current member of the Canadiens could influence the veteran's decision to come-or not come-to Montreal.
Mike Matheson can convince Sidney Crosby to join the Montreal Canadiens (and he's going to try to do it)

As we know, Mike Matheson and Sidney Crosby were teammates with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and according to Lavoie, the two are very close friends.

Those are very encouraging words for anyone who dreams of seeing number 87 in a red, white, and blue jersey.
I can't wait to see what happens in this situation-especially if the Pittsburgh Penguins struggle once again and miss the 2025-2026 playoffs.
