We had a bit of action today, live from the CN Sports Complex in Brossard, as some Montreal Canadiens players hit the ice.
That said, in addition to Demidov and Carrier, there were also other interesting names present.
Following our latest article, we received questions about the other players who were on the ice, including a young player from the Los Angeles Kings.
And yes, those are the sons of Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
Let's take a moment to talk about the sons of the two executive leaders of the Montreal Canadiens.
Jack Hughes is 21 years old, a 6-foot, 169-pound center, and was a second-round pick by the Los Angeles Kings in 2022 in Montreal (51st overall).
He played for Boston University in the NCAA over the past two seasons. In 2023-24, he recorded 19 points in 38 games, and in 2024-25, he tallied 25 points in 40 games.
Riley Hughes is 25 years old, a 6-foot-2, 194-pound winger, and was a seventh-round pick by the New York Rangers in 2018 (216th overall).
Last season, he played for the Carolina Hurricanes' AHL affiliate, where he collected 8 points in 31 games.
Finally, Jack Gorton is 23 years old, a 6-foot-3, 196-pound winger who went undrafted.
Last season, he played for Boston University in the NCAA, where he went scoreless in 3 games.
