On top of being a very talented player, it turns out Hutson is also a true hockey fanatic.
I'm not saying he has their talent, but he definitely shares their love for the game-and clearly, it looks like he also has their absolutely impeccable work ethic.
I still remember those images of Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon back on the ice in the early hours of the morning, the day after a Team Canada game that went to overtime during the Four Nations Faceoff.
We seem to see the same kind of passion in Hutson, to the point where, last Sunday, Canadiens management actually revoked his authorization to go practice in Brossard.
They forced him to take a day off-which is amazing.
The Canadiens had to forbid Lane Hutson from going on the ice last Sunday
What a fascinating young player!
The Habs told Lane Hutson he wasn't allowed to practice on Sunday and his response on having a day off from hockey was:
"It was pretty boring."

To win in the NHL, these are exactly the kind of players you need on a team.
Kudos to Lane Hutson, and kudos to Stu Cowan for sharing this little story.
I love anecdotes like this.
