We have another personnel move to announce in goal within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Things moved quickly in the Canadiens' goaltending file, and a domino effect has spread throughout the organizational chart.
After Jacob Fowler was sent down to the Laval Rocket (announced Friday morning), another piece has shifted within the system.
The Rocket have assigned goaltender Hunter Jones to the Trois-Rivières Lions, which represents the logical next step in the plan and confirms that Fowler is in Laval for good.

When a young goalie arrives in Laval to play more often, space has to be freed elsewhere to avoid a logjam in net, and obviously to prevent another three-goalie situation, this time in Laval.
Jacob Fowler forces the organization to make room
The message is clear, and Kent Hughes has made his decision.
The organization wants Jacob Fowler to get a heavy workload.
Fowler's demotion sparked discussion because he had performed well since being recalled to Montreal.
But with Samuel Montembeault holding down the fort and another young goalie in the picture in Jakub Dobes, the Canadiens couldn't keep everyone at the NHL level without slowing development.
Sending Hunter Jones to Trois-Rivières also helps the Lions.
It adds another goalie to the rotation and stabilizes a team that needs consistency night after night.
In the end, it's a small chain reaction that says a lot.
The Canadiens want their goalies to play, period.
And in this situation, Laval and Trois-Rivières become the places where you earn your spot, not just protect it.
Everything is now falling back into place within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
