We experienced a pretty special moment during Arber Xhekaj's post-game press conference, following his fight against Adam Lowry.

After delivering his best fight of the season against the captain of the Winnipeg Jets, and in defense of Alexandre Carrier, here's what Arber Xhekaj had to say to reporters.
It's significant, because he outright admits he "needed" that convincing win over Lowry.

"It's big, when you lose a couple of fights, you start thinking too much.

Like have I lost it, what's going on...

But I'm pretty mentally strong, I think that kinda helps with the fighting role, but it definitely helps to have a good one tonight."

Wow. It's great to see the Sheriff show that kind of vulnerability. He confirms what we were all noticing. His confidence (as a tough guy) had taken a hit over the last few weeks, especially with all the criticism he's been receiving. And what happened Wednesday night against Adam Lowry really did him good.
It's no surprise he looked so happy and relieved after the fight, especially since Arber Xhekaj glanced toward St-Louis and the Canadiens' bench both before the fight with Adam Lowry and again once he reached the penalty box.
Speaking of Arber, let's not forget that the Canadiens have loaned his younger brother, Florian Xhekaj, along with defenseman Adam Engstrom, to the Laval Rocket following the game against the Jets.
There's certainly no shortage of action!
