The Montreal Canadiens are currently on the ice for a practice session before heading to Minnesota for the game against the Wild.
An interesting fact to note, Evgenii Dadonov is mysteriously absent.
"Left out by Martin St. Louis on Saturday night, Evgeni Dadonov is not on the ice with his teammates for practice.
On Saturday after the win over the Blues, he was spotted in conversation with Kent Hughes." - Luc Gélinas, RDS
So you can guess that the trade rumors involving Dadonov have just intensified tremendously.
Let's obviously remember that Joel Armia as well as Juraj Slafkovsky are back in the game, so Kent Hughes really needs to make a move to lower his forward numbers.
Could Dadonov actually be sent down soon? Will he be traded?
Check out what the Montreal Canadiens just released, to calm the rumors:
"Evgenii Dadonov does not practice today (treatment day)."
Fans and pundits aren't really buying this announcement and explanation, especially since Dadonov was healthy and out of the lineup on Saturday.
To be continued!
