As we reported on Friday, Patrick Roy had an interesting message and he wished that different teams and organizations would honor Guy Lafleur differently.
Instead of holding a moment of silence in honor of Guy Lafleur, Roy suggested a standing ovation instead:
"Patrick Roy suggests that a standing ovation be offered to Guy Lafleur tonight in all amphitheaters in Quebec rather than a moment of silence to celebrate the greatness of his work." - Kevin Dubé
The Calgary Flames last night answered the call and they did:
Wow, it's looking good for today at the Bell Centre!
