Changes will likely take place on the Montreal Canadiens' staff at the end of this campaign. Marc Bergevin is likely to leave considering his difficult contractual situation with the team.
We're talking! Maybe even Geoff Molson could be tempted to give up his position as president to a good samaritan who will want to take this role. Who might be tempted to take the president's job, should Molson want to hand over the torch?
One potential candidate has just confirmed his interest in the Montreal Canadiens, Stéphane Quintal.
The former Tricolore player is currently the Senior Vice-President of player safety in the NHL. However, the position of president with the Habs would be the only reason why he would leave his current position.
It is literally a pole that the Quebecer has just extended to Geoff Molson. Quintal has gained a lot of experience at the administrative level over the last few years. There is no doubt in my mind that he would be qualified for this role.
