In the last few seconds, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced this:
"The Canadiens have assigned forward Anthony Richard to the Laval Rocket."
- Montreal Canadiens A really surprising announcement, considering the injuries in the lineup and especially considering the fact that Martin St-Louis' team could really benefit from an Anthony Richard right now.
We were expecting more of a recall than a return to Laval, but let's see what will be announced in the next few hours.
Do you think it was a good decision by the organization to return Richard to the Rocket?
Richard, 26, has 31 points (18 goals) in 27 games this season in the AHL and two points in seven NHL games with the CH.
Despite his lengthy stay with the Tricolore, Richard is still the Laval Rocket's top scorer and the team's leading goal scorer.
