The 2023 NHL Draft is of utmost importance to the Montreal Canadiens' staff, considering that the team is currently undergoing a rebuild.
Many experts say that this draft includes several exceptional players, including Connor Bedard, of course.
With the Panthers' pick and their own pick, everything indicates that the Habs will have at least two picks in the top-15.
So, Jeff Gorton and his team have some work to do to draft the two best players available.
According to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports, Kent Hughes, Jeff Gorton and all the Tricolore scouts are currently preparing a three-day meeting to prepare their final list.
They are not taking this draft lightly and it's a sign that it's a major one for them. Note that Vincent Lecavalier is also in town for the occasion.
