Mattias Norlinder has just announced great news for fans

This means that he will be able to join the Laval Rocket, to help the Montreal Canadiens' training club in its first ever playoff run.

Norlinder, who had a rather disappointing season, had a brilliant playoff run in Sweden. He is on a good run.

For Norlinder, this is a great move.

He could have been rested, but in the end, he chose to come and help the Rocket and, at the same time, he will have the opportunity to show what he can do. (to CH officials)

The future looks bright on the Montreal blue line, and there will be fierce competition among the youngsters for positions. It will be very interesting to see what kind of performance Norlinder can offer in the next few days.

After being sent back to Frolunda (following a 2 point performance in 6 games in Laval and 1 point in 6 games in Montreal), he has faded offensively.

In 21 games of the season, in the SHL, he collected: no goals and 2 points. All this with a negative differential of -7.
