Insider claims Alex Galchenyuk will be in Montreal this week

How true is this rumor? Seriously, I have no idea since I've seen Hockeyy Insiderr get it wrong a few times when he files a rumor. So we shouldn't buy into this one outright, but the Galchenyuk to Montreal rumor is sounding louder and louder.

However, what I am curious about is that Bergevin took Galchenyuk out of Montreal, in return for Max Domi, because he wanted to change the culture and bring back some attitude in his dressing room. According to what some people have already told me, Galchenyuk's dad was taking up too much space. He would even contact him, via text message, during intermissions, to tell his son what adjustments he needed to make in his game.

However, we must be objective in the case of the former number 27 of the Montreal Canadiens: his game has matured a lot. With the Leafs, I saw a more mature young man, who accepted a stint in the AHL to come back stronger in the NHL. He had some great moments with the Maple Leafs, as he seemed more involved. However, with his unrefined hockey sense, he can't become a completely different player than he was before...

Marc Bergevin knows Galchenyuk's strengths and weaknesses as he was the one who drafted him 3rd overall in 2012. Chucky has played 418 games with the Habs, while scoring 255 points, including 108 goals. If he ever actually signs a deal with the club that selected him in the draft, Bergevin knows exactly what to expect from the American. Especially since he was a good friend of Brendan Gallagher during his stay in Montreal.

In short, this is a case to follow closely... he who could find himself in Montreal for a girl!
