When we learned that Sean Avery was officially back as a professional hockey player, Matthew Barnaby expressed his interest in returning, too, to fight Avery.
Following this, several Habs fans wondered, jokingly, if the time had come to see Georges Laraque again, on skates, to face Avery, too.
Well now we have just learned that the former Montreal Canadiens tough guy, Georges Laraque, actually wants to return to play in the ECHL. (if he's actually serious)
It's hard to tell if he's joking, or if he's serious, but watch this:
He seems serious, and he now has an offer on the table! It's up to you to judge, but it could become violent in the ECHL.
Recall that Sean Avery actually signed an agreement with the Orlando Solar Bears yesterday.
Imagine Georges with the Trois-Rivières Lions!? Although here, it seems to be the Florida Everblades, who are interested and made him the offer.
Laraque, 45, has not played professional hockey since the 2009-10 season with the Montreal Canadiens.
