During his daily press briefing, Dominique Ducharme confirmed which group will be sent on the ice in Ottawa on Friday night. According to him, it will be the same group that faced the Toronto Leafs on Monday night, the A group.
Here is what the lineup should look like:
One of the obvious roster changes will be the addition of Sami Niku, at the expense of Mattias Norlinder, who suffered a minor injury on Monday night.
Although the A's will be playing on Friday, there is a possibility that some players will play in both games this weekend. Dominique Ducharme confirmed yesterday that the next few games would be key to making the next cuts. In any case, it would be surprising to see Ryan Poehling for both games this weekend.
This morning, we reported that Cedric Paquette had suffered a lower body injury, but without much precision. However, the man in charge of the Habs confirmed that number 13 was injured in the groin.
