Caufield and Suzuki made a gesture yesterday that would have pissed off Michel Therrien and Marc Bergevin but we love it

Last night after the Montreal Canadiens' great victory over the New Jersey Devils, we witnessed an interesting scene as the players were leaving, and it was beautiful to see.

Personally, we love it!

The victory handshake between Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield!

In the Martin St-Louis/Kent Hughes era, players can afford this, but as journalist Stu Cowan mentions, Marc Bergevin and Michel Therrien would not have appreciated it.

"Marc Bergevin and Michel Therrien would not approve of this." - Stu Cowan

See the images. We hope to see this very often in the coming years.

In the 3-2 victory in New Jersey, Caufield was superb, scoring a goal and an assist (two points) with two shots on net. His assist is a major highlight for him.

We're starting to see the Caufield from last season and the beginning of this season again!

And you, are you FOR or AGAINST victory handshakes like this? We obviously remember the iconic one between Carey Price and PK Subban.
