The 22-year-old power forward, Brady Tkachuk, has signed a seven year deal with the Ottawa Senators. The deal will pay him $8.214 million annually. In total, at the end of his seven years, he will have earned $57.5 million.
A fair contract for the kind of player he is!
Here is how Tkachuk spread the news on his Twitter feed. Just like the character he is. Fantastic!
We've been twiddling our thumbs for a while now waiting for the Sens and the Tkachuk clan to get it together. Let's not forget that #7 is seen as the next captain of the Ottawa team.
Obviously, he will arrive in Ottawa without a game shape, but it shouldn't take long, he will quickly put on his Senators jersey with a wide smile and ready to continuously disturb his opponents.
In short, since the beginning of his career, Tkachuk has collected 125 points, including 60 goals, in 198 games, while applying no less than 725 checks, which is COLOSSAL!
