We learned some very interesting news in the last few hours on the most recent episode of the 32 Thoughts Podcast with Jeff Marek and Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
They had Scott Mayer, who is the National Hockey League's director of marketing, on for an interview, and he taught us a good one.
Former Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban, who is obviously still followed and known by Quebec hockey fans, just signed an interesting contract with the NHL.
A new challenge and a new job for P.K.
Starting this fall, the NHL will produce a new show with P.K. Subban, and it will be called "PK's Places", a hockey version of "Peyton's Places", which is a popular NFL show.
Mayer says here that this new job for Subban will not impact his playing career, but there are many doubters.
It's really starting to feel like the end of his playing career and the beginning of his media career.
One thing is for sure, no matter where Subban signs, production will begin this fall and should air in May 2024. It will be very interesting for the fans!
Speaking of P.K. as a hockey player, David Pagnotta posted this yesterday:
He doesn't really seem to be on the verge of finding a new team. Stay tuned!
More details to follow.
