A trade involving Jesse Ylönen has just been announced: a fresh start for the former Montreal Canadien
TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie was also among the first to reveal the details:
Ylönen, 25 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 193-pound forward who was drafted 35th overall (2nd round) by the Montreal Canadiens in 2018.
This season, he has recorded 25 points in 47 games with the Syracuse Crunch in the American Hockey League.
In his NHL career, Ylönen has totaled 29 points in 111 games (12 goals), all of which were accumulated with the Montreal Canadiens.
He will be a restricted free agent (RFA) this summer, so he will need a strong finish to the season to secure his future.
Anthony Angello, 28 years old, is a 6-foot-4, 228-pound forward who was selected in the 5th round of the 2014 draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins.
He has recorded 5 points in 31 career NHL games and has collected 14 points in 41 games this season in the AHL.
