Canucks GM Adds Fuel to Elias Pettersson Trade Rumors With Latest Comments
A trade involving star forward Elias Pettersson seemed like a ridiculous idea just a few months ago, but it now appears to be getting serious. In addition to rumors about his tense relationship with teammate J.T. Miller, Pettersson's own general manager has just added fuel to the fire.
In recent hours, GM Patrik Allvin has refused to state that Pettersson won't be traded and opened the door to a Pettersson trade possibility with his latest comments.
Here's what the Canucks' GM said during an interview with Sportsnet:
But he needs to mature and understand that there are certain expectations, and it does not get easier. And you need to face the music when things don't go well.
