Signing alert of another goaltender, and it's the former Edmonton Oilers goalie, 25-year-old Dylan Wells
While we are repeatedly told that the NHL goaltender market is very quiet and that it's difficult for Kent Hughes to trade Casey DeSmith, another goaltender has just found a taker.
Dylan Wells has just signed a professional tryout contract with the Nashville Predators.
Wells, 25 years old, is a Canadian goaltender who stands at 6 feet 2 inches and weighs 190 pounds. He was drafted in the fifth round by the Edmonton Oilers in 2016.
During a brief stint with the Chicago Blackhawks last season, he had a save percentage of 0.923 and an average of 2.99.
We wish the best of luck to the former Peterborough Pete!
Details to follow.
