The Maple Leafs have lost in the playoffs again. It's not very surprising, but for a moment, it truly seemed like their bad luck had ended.

Now, many changes are expected within the organization. The core four, who did not perform well during the playoffs, could be disbanded. None of Nylander, Tavares, Matthews, and Marner's spots are safe.

Marner has been involved in a trade proposal that sends him to Chicago to play alongside Connor Bedard.

Important Trade Proposal Sends Mitch Marner to Connor Bedard's Line

The Chicago Blackhawks were the lucky winners of the draft lottery, and with it comes Connor Bedard. He will completely change the face of the franchise. His NHL career hasn't started yet, and he already has a lot of pressure on him.

It will be management's job to ensure he is in good company on the ice.

With Mitch Marner on his line, he could make a real impact in the NHL.

Here's the proposal linking the two players:

"Hear me out:

Chicago gets:
Mitch Marner
Matt Murray

Toronto gets:
Drew Commesso
Frank Nazar
Lukas Reichel
19th overall pick."

Chicago will have a high price to pay, but it is not unrealistic to acquire a player like Marner.

A trade like this would be beneficial for both organizations.

With Murray in the net, the Hawks could become serious playoff contenders as soon as next year.

Toronto would acquire a handful of good prospects and a high pick in the draft.

The Leafs couldn't win even with Marner on their team... they need to change something or they'll never pass the first round again.
