A player from the Montreal Canadiens is moving to the Colorado Avalanche, and it is defenseman Corey Schueneman
As you know, yesterday the Colorado Avalanche made a move from the Montreal Canadiens by signing Quebecer forward Jonathan Drouin.
General Manager Chris MacFarland didn't stop there, though.
Now, he has signed another player who has previously played for the Habs, and Corey Schueneman will be joining Drouin in Denver.
Schueneman has signed a one-year contract with the Avalanche.
The 27-year-old defenseman will earn a salary of $775,000 next season, as he has agreed to a two-way deal.
Schueneman accumulated 7 points in 31 games with the Montreal Canadiens and played an important role with the Laval Rocket, tallying 23 points in 62 games with a +13 plus-minus rating this season.
Best of luck with his new team!
