Tom Wilson's name continues to stir up conversation in Montreal during this first-round series between the Canadiens and the Capitals.

We obviously know about his "love story" with Josh Anderson, but tonight, Wilson also went after other players, including, of course, Alexandre Carrier.
At his press conference, he made several rather strange statements, and by his own admission, he should sometimes think twice before speaking.

Another unusual statement from Tom Wilson at his press conference

That said, before Game 4, he also sent another message to a Canadiens player, this time to Juraj Slafkovsky.
Tom Wilson about his fake crying that went viral during the last game:

"It was for one guy only, I wasn't doing it to the whole team.

It was for one guy; I won't say who, but he knows who it was.

Obviously, the camera was on me; I guess I should maybe just shut up sometimes, but emotions are running high."

We know he's talking about Slafkovsky here.
The footage is here:
It's quite strange coming from a veteran like him, because all he's doing is motivating his opponents even more and painting a big target on his back.
By the way, Juraj Slafkovsky scored a big goal tonight.
I wonder what the other Capitals players think about Wilson giving this kind of fuel to the Canadiens players, and lighting a fire under the Habs by acting this way.
Anyway, once again, it promises to be a heated matchup for the next game of this series!
The Canadiens currently trail the series 3-1, game 5 is Wednesday night at 7:00 PM live from Washington.
