The best insider in the NHL, Elliotte Friedman, has finally revealed the names of the four goaltenders who would be selected by Team Canada.

With the official roster announcement approaching, it appears that four goaltenders have now been identified by Team Canada.
No, Elliotte Friedman never speaks for nothing, and here is what he has just stated on the matter.
"You're looking probably at [Jordan Binnington], Logan Thompson, Darcy Kuemper and Scott Wedgewood probably is the fourth"

Interesting.
This strongly suggests that Canadiens goaltender Samuel Montembeault is no longer in Team Canada's plans for the 2026 Olympic Games.

Friedman points to Binnington, Thompson, Kuemper, and Wedgewood as Team Canada's Olympic goaltending options

Binnington is expected to earn his spot based on his Four Nations Face-Off performance, while Thompson, Kuemper, and Wedgewood appear to be battling for the remaining two positions.
Montembeault, 29, has a goals-against average of 3.61 this season, with a save percentage of 0.861 for the Montreal Canadiens.
Binnington, 32, has a goals-against average of 3.30 this season, with a save percentage of 0.874 for the St. Louis Blues.
Kuemper, 35, has a goals-against average of 2.35 this season, with a save percentage of 0.910 for the Los Angeles Kings.
Thompson, 28, has a goals-against average of 2.02 this season, with a save percentage of 0.919 for the Washington Capitals.
Wedgewood, 33, has a goals-against average of 2.07 this season, with a save percentage of 0.920 for the Colorado Avalanche.
