Just days before the 2025 NHL Draft, we've just learned some interesting news about young forward Alexander Zharovsky.
The Montreal Canadiens have summoned this intriguing prospect for a meeting - a meeting that will take place as early as tomorrow!
The information, shared by TVA Sports journalist Nicolas Cloutier, comes directly from Zharovsky's agent.
We're talking about a very intriguing young talent here.
The Canadiens Summon Young Forward Alexander Zharovsky for a Meeting
Kent Hughes is clearly preparing his strategy for the 16th and 17th overall picks, but let's not forget the 41st and 49th picks either.
It's worth noting that Zharovsky has the same agent as a certain Ivan Demidov.
At 18 years old, Zharovsky is a 6-foot-1, 163-pound winger who played seven KHL playoff games this season (scoring 1 point) - and the fact that he even played in those games is an achievement in itself.
In the MHL, Zharovsky recorded 50 points in 45 games, including 24 goals. He's known as a flashy and exciting player.
"The Russian, represented by Dan Milstein (a well-known agent who represents the interests of Russian players), will meet with the Canadiens tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. It was the agent himself who shared this on social media - likely to the Canadiens' dismay - in a story, as noted by Nicolas Cloutier."
