Tom Wilson's Strange Post-Game Comments About Canadiens Leave Fans Scratching Their Heads
Tom Wilson is a player who has always made headlines in the National Hockey League, and he'll always continue to do so.
During the series between the Washington Capitals and the Montreal Canadiens, it was no different.
Some people absolutely hate him, while others are able to respect the kind of player he is.
He seems to be one of those players you love to have on your team, but hate to play against.
Anyway, during a press conference last night after the Montreal Canadiens' elimination, Tom Wilson once again perfectly embodied those dualities.
He made a really strange statement, and I'll explain why.
A hard-to-understand statement from Tom Wilson about certain Montreal Canadiens players
On one hand, Wilson kept going after the Canadiens, claiming that some players played "cheap" and took dirty shots...
Tom Wilson said about the Canadiens:
"We knew they were going to play cheap."
"We knew they were going to play cheap."
But on the other hand, Wilson also said that he has a lot of respect for [the Habs]..
So it's a bit hard to follow and hard to understand, but hey, that's Tom Wilson.
It's so bizarre and contradictory that I'm having trouble forming an opinion on these statements, but I'll leave that to you.

Before going to bed last night, I had only seen the statement where he said he knew the Canadiens were going to play "cheap" and take dirty shots, so I was ready to tell you he trashed the Habs again during the press conference, but now I see that after the criticism, he also gave them some praise.
Hard to follow Tom Wilson, but it's obvious that this last comment was very well received.
