Alex Ovechkin to Retire from the NHL in One Year, According to His Wife

First, let's recap what happened in recent hours on this matter.
It all began with an email sent to Washington Capitals season ticket holders, stating that the 2025-2026 season would be Alex Ovechkin's last in the NHL.
After that, the Capitals organization publicly denied the information.
"No decision has been made regarding Alex Ovechkin's future after the 2025-26 NHL season.

An email was sent by a member of the team's sales department, mistakenly implying that next year would be Alex Ovechkin's final season."

Well, today brings another twist in this story.
Read this..
"In an exclusive interview with Olga Shablinskaya, Nastya Ovechkina stated that her husband will play the final year of his contract with the Washington Capitals and then they will move to Moscow." - DLC
