Renaud Lavoie Drops New Hint on NHL Expansion, Quebec Nordiques Urged to Get to Work

TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie has made a very interesting statement regarding the next expansion of the National Hockey League.
It's been suspected for a while now, but numerous rumors have been circulating suggesting that new cities have already been identified for NHL expansion.
The usual suspects are Atlanta and Houston, but Québec has every reason in the world to get to work, because Renaud Lavoie himself also seemed to confirm that, sooner or later, there will be 34 teams in the NHL.
It really seems to be just a matter of time.

Much like Elliotte Friedman has mentioned, the question is no longer if the NHL will expand again, but rather when it will happen.

That says a lot!
Everything suggests that the cities of Atlanta and Houston have already been targeted by the NHL, but knowing expansion is coming, the Quebec Nordiques should really get to work on building a strong bid.
You never know!
So don't be surprised if, in the coming months, we learn that the NHL will officially expand to 34 teams.
