Bettman Breaks Silence on NHL Expansion, Drops a Comment Quebec Nordiques Fans Won't Like

Following NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's press conference in the middle of June, the topic of expansion and the return of the Quebec Nordiques stirred plenty of discussion.

Following those remarks, TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie added fuel to the fire.

After Bettman's comments, journalist Renaud Lavoie reminded listeners that the cities of Atlanta and Houston appear to be in the running.
He spoke about it during a very interesting segment on BPM Sports radio - and yes, those cities clearly seem to be on the NHL's radar.
It seems clear, at least in his view, what the NHL Commissioner truly thinks..

That's tough to hear, but it seems to be the harsh reality.
Now fans hoping for the return of the Quebec Nordiques must hope a serious ownership group can change Gary Bettman's and the NHL's mind.
