Following NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's press conference in the middle of June, the topic of expansion and the return of the Quebec Nordiques stirred plenty of discussion.

These are questions he was, of course, asked about - and we covered them in a previous article:
Following those remarks, TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie added fuel to the fire.

He spoke about it during a very interesting segment on BPM Sports radio - and yes, those cities clearly seem to be on the NHL's radar.
It seems clear, at least in his view, what the NHL Commissioner truly thinks..

That's tough to hear, but it seems to be the harsh reality.
Now fans hoping for the return of the Quebec Nordiques must hope a serious ownership group can change Gary Bettman's and the NHL's mind.
And in your opinion - could an NHL team truly succeed long-term in a city like Quebec?
