As reported by the excellent Patrick Guillet, an interesting change was noticed and observed today involving Samuel Montembeault.

While he appeared shaky, frustrated, and discouraged during practices last week, the transformation this morning was incredible to see.
It was as if there was a new Samuel Montembeault this morning in Brossard... Yes, Saturday night's game against the Utah Mammoth (a solid win) really did him a lot of good.

Drastic change observed in Samuel Montembeault's body language today in Brossard

Martin St-Louis also noticed a huge difference, and that will be big moving forward.
"Samuel Montembeault looked more confident in net during this morning's practice.

Saturday's win clearly gave the goalie a lift."

- Patrick Guillet
Samuel Montembeault, 29 years old, standing 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 218 pounds, has a record of 4 wins, 3 losses, and 1 overtime loss so far this season, with a goals-against average of 3.46 and a save percentage of .864.
In his career, Montembeault holds a record of 84-87-29, with a goals-against average of 3.22 and a save percentage of .898.
It'll be interesting to see what Martin St-Louis decides to do over the next few games, considering that the Canadiens don't have any "back-to-back" games for quite some time.
If St-Louis wants to, he could technically give Samuel the starts on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Monday, and next Thursday quite easily.
The team will have several rest days over the next two weeks, so I'm really curious to see what happens.
In my opinion, Jakub Dobes also deserves to play and to get a "confidence" game after his emotional press conference appearance.
Speaking of what happened this morning in Brossard, let's recall this:
Hopefully he's feeling good and ready for tomorrow's game against the Kings.
