We witnessed an unusual situation last night during the post-game press conference of Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis.

After his team's 7-0 loss to the Dallas Stars, St. Louis took much longer than usual to appear for his post-game availability...
That obviously sparked plenty of questions, but clearly, he had a lot to say to his players in the locker room after the game.
The team appears to have held an impromptu meeting following the loss.

An intriguing delay for Martin St. Louis' press conference

Stu Cowan was the first to point out this unusual delay.
"Still waiting for Habs head coach Martin St. Louis to show up for postgame news conference."

- Stu Cowan
And in your opinion, what explains this delay?
We should also remember that we are still awaiting official news regarding the health status of forward Alex Newhook.
On Thursday night, Martin St. Louis' squad fell 7-0 to the Dallas Stars.
In the loss, Jakub Dobes allowed five goals on 13 shots, while Samuel Montembeault allowed two on six shots.
The Montreal Canadiens will be back in action tomorrow night at 7 p.m., once again live from the Bell Centre, this time against the Boston Bruins.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how the players respond after such an embarrassing defeat... and in front of the home fans in Montreal, no less!
Stay tuned for more.
