Unexpected New Face Has Just Stepped Onto the Ice in Brossard For Canadiens Practice
A new face has indeed been spotted in Brossard, alongside the usual Montreal Canadiens players.
That being said, there really was an unexpected new face in Brossard today.
Vinzenz Rohrer Causes a Surprise as He Joins Canadiens Players in Brossard
Could he be gearing up to try and make a surprise push at Canadiens training camp?
"Laval Rocket prospect Vinzenz Rohrer made his first appearance of the summer in Brossard today.
Despite his smaller frame, he doesn't hesitate to battle along the boards or in front of the net."
Vinzenz Rohrer, just 20 years old, is a feisty 5'11", 173-pound forward who was a third-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2022 (75th overall). Last season, he recorded 25 points in 52 games in Switzerland's top league with Zurich SC (National League A).
We're really excited to see him at camp, as all signs suggest he's in town specifically for Canadiens training camp.
Here's yet another player arriving early.
According to the latest information, this season it will be either Montreal or Switzerland for Rohrer, as his chances of joining the Laval Rocket are considered very slim.
