Surprising Scene in the Canadiens' Locker Room After the Win Involving Martin St-Louis and Two Players
The Canadiens picked up another very big win at the Bell Centre last night, this time by a score of 3-2 against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The team has now seriously positioned itself to potentially pull off a surprise and qualify for the 2025 playoffs.
A special scene in the Canadiens' locker room
The atmosphere around the Canadiens continues to be fantastic and, last night after the game, the organization shared its traditional little "victory video," and, for a rare occasion, we get a clip from head coach Martin St-Louis' post-game speech.
He notably congratulates his goaltender,
Samuel Montembeault, for his excellent performance and also highlights the incredible effort of Brendan Gallagher, who, against all odds, scored his 20th goal of the season last night against the Flyers.
A solid achievement for Gally, what a comeback!
It's really great to see!
Afterwards, we see number 11 giving a short speech, also praising the brilliance of his goaltender, but Gallagher surprised many by awarding the team's "glasses of the game" to young Oliver Kapanen! I love the choice.
What a great way to welcome (back) young Kapanen and immediately make him feel part of the team.
Let's recall that Kapanen played because
Josh Anderson was scratched at the last minute, having temporarily left for what the Canadiens announced as "family reasons."
In the win, Kapanen played just over 8 minutes.
