In the last few minutes, Montreal Canadiens head coach Martin St-Louis was holding a press conference.
He was, of course, asked about his lineup for tonight's big game against the Detroit Red Wings, and he mentioned the following:
"Martin St-Louis says David Savard could be able to play tonight, but not Emil Heineman."

The Canadiens also announced a change, and it's happening in net, as Samuel Montembeault will be the starter.
Jakub Dobes will return to the bench.

Regarding the ongoing question about whether or not Arber Xhekaj will be in tonight's lineup, St-Louis responded and reiterated that David Savard could possibly return to action tonight.
We can therefore understand that the verdict for Xhekaj will depend on Savard's status.

With a win tonight, the Canadiens could essentially secure their spot in the playoffs.
According to MoneyPuck, a regulation win would boost their chances of making the playoffs to 96.3%.
