As you know, Patrik Laine was injured early in last night's game, and Arber Xhekaj responded strongly to Cédric Paré.
Xhekaj didn't hesitate to rush the Maple Leafs forward and landed several blows on him.
Following this incident, Xhekaj was ejected from the game.
Last night, Martin St-Louis found himself with only four defensemen in uniform (due to the injury sustained by David Reinbacher), a situation brought up by RDS journalist François Gagnon.
After the game, when listening to St-Louis's press conference, it became fairly clear that he didn't seem to appreciate the Sheriff's actions.
When asked whether he would need to have a "talk" with Xhekaj, St-Louis simply responded that he would need to seriously think about it today.
The head coach did, however, clarify a point, as reported by TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau.
In his opinion, players need to respond, but not necessarily by dropping the gloves.
