We were waiting for it, and well, the wait is clearly coming to an end for the highly anticipated press conference from Montreal Canadiens General Manager Kent Hughes.
Usually, when the Habs make an acquisition (or sign an impactful player), the media is invited to a press conference. The goal is to introduce the player in question and answer all related questions.
So we've been waiting for one regarding Ivan Demidov, and all signs point to it happening soon.

Let's remember that it's now only a matter of hours before Demidov joins his new teammates in Canada.

Who will be present at this major press conference to officially announce the arrival of Ivan Demidov?
The article doesn't specify who will be present at this press conference, but we assume Demidov will be there, we assume Kent Hughes will be there, and there's also Jeff Gorton, who could very well be in attendance.
Will they go as far as inviting Geoff Molson, the owner, for this event?
We'll see, but my prediction would be mainly the presence of Demidov, Hughes, and Gorton.
