We have a rather surprising development regarding a young Montreal Canadiens forward, reported by Patrik Bexell.
The European insider has announced that young forward Vinzenz Rohrer, who was recently signed by the Montreal Canadiens, will not be attending the Habs' camps.
"Just spoke with Vinzenz Rohrer and he won't be at development camp, which probably means Habs rookie camp and main camp.
Vinzenz says it's a bit up in the air at the moment."

Personally, I'd say "let's wait and see" when it comes to the main camp this fall, but clearly, Bexell is reporting that Rohrer will not be at development camp.
It's disappointing, but the young player may have a valid reason for his absence.
Vinzenz Rohrer Already Announces He Won't Attend the Canadiens' Development Camp and Also Hints He May Miss Main Camp This Fall
As a reminder, this past weekend, the Canadiens announced the signing of their first forward of the offseason (Rohrer).
He is now officially under contract here.
In fact, when the signing was announced, the excellent Marco D'Amico offered an important clarification.
"Similar to Oliver Kapanen last summer, Rohrer has a valid contract with the Zurich Lions for next season.
That means he can attend Canadiens camp in the fall, but, if he doesn't crack the roster, he must be loaned back to Zurich before sending him to Laval."

Does that explain everything?
