Let's first recall one of the key pieces of news from the Canadiens today as Patrik Laine has officially practiced with the Canadiens.
Speaking of great live images from Brossard, seeing Laine in action with his teammates (wearing a non-contact jersey) is very exciting for what's to come.
Clearly, his return to play is approaching, and we love it.
That said, we have more interesting footage.
Personally, I love seeing a player who «cares» this much and demonstrates his competitive spirit. It's clear that Dach is aware he hasn't had the start to the season he was hoping for, and it's not sitting well with him.
Check out the footage in question:
On another note, we also observed that Martin St-Louis was extremely active today. He was all over the ice, doing a lot of teaching, especially with younger players, Emil Heineman, and Josh Anderson.
Let's also note that the Montreal Canadiens won't play again until this Saturday, when Martin St-Louis' squad faces the Vegas Golden Knights live at the Bell Centre.
It's expected that Samuel Montembeault will return to the net for his team.
In the meantime, the Canadiens have several practices scheduled to fine-tune certain aspects, continue working on special teams, and improve faceoff efficiency.
Do you still believe the Canadiens can get «back in the mix» this season?
